The Tiara School aims to give each student an inspirational experience and opportunity to express their own unique personality in the pieces that they create.
Courses are high quality, small and friendly with a maximum of 8 students. All tools are provided.
For level 1 courses no experience is necessary just a little patience. Tea, coffee and biscuits are on hand all day, but please bring your own lunch. A list of local B&B's is available, please enquire for details.
Tutor Andrea Frankham-Hughes has been a professional Tiara Maker for over a decade. She has designed and produced ranges for Jigsaw, Jigsaw Junior, Virgin Bride and Kiss the Frog. Her work has been bought by Madonna for her daughter Lourdes. She has been teaching since 2000 and is passionate about enabling her students to create their own distinctive designs. Andreas work and the Tiara School courses have been featured in Bead Magazine, Prima, Craft Beautiful, You and Your Wedding, The Essential Wedding Outfit, Prediction and Coast magazines.
Tiara making Level 1: Learn how to make a tiara in a day, using sparkly crystal beads, pearls and twisted silver or gold plated wire. Create your own unique piece, perfect for weddings,proms, first communions and balls as well as gifts for friends and relations.
Tiara making Level 2: Expand your new skill by attending the next level. Use pre-cast metal components wired onto a metal frame, to create a stylish and sophisticated look. Only open to those who have completed Level 1 Tiara making.
Crowns and Coronets, Combs and Clips: There's never enough time on Level 1 & 2 courses to cover this subject, so here's the opportunity to specifically concentrate on the fascinating area of making Crowns and Coronets as well as clips and combs. Open to students who have completed Level 1 Tiara making.
